I hired AK to come to Czech Republic to work with our Hockey Academy for 3 seasons. The players and coaches loved him not only on the ice but also off the ice. He seems to really love what he does and is the best I've seen so far. I also hired AK to work with my pro team last season. He ran specific practices separately for forwards and defencemen. He made our team faster and left us behind some great drills to continue to work on with our players.

Our Novice 3 team was privileged to welcome Coach AK to our 2014/15 developmental program. His ability to touch on fundamental skating skills helped raise the game of all of our kids. By incorporating our coaching staff into the program, our group was left better prepared to focus on this aspect of our team's game. The value received to our team as a whole by partnering with AKHockey shines above any other similar program introduced to my groups to date.

AK offered a fresh look at Hockey Skating rather than the common power skating drills. Each one of our kids in the program were able to benefit from the unique approach to skating efficiently and acceleration. The techniques were not something that you would see every day!

Big shout out to AKHockey. AWESOME! This was our second year of attendance and we can't wait until next year. AK and his on ice instructors are a top notch group focusing on the basic fundamentals of skating and puck control. There is a 10 player to 7 instructor ratio. Consistent feedback. Excellent progression and regression. I cannot say enough of this program: from the skates up.

AK has worked with our son for the past four years. Over that time his skating and puck handling skills have improved tremendously allowing him to make top tier teams even as a first year. AK is extremely knowledgeable, great with players of all ages and definitely gets positive results. Not only can he explain techniques and correct player deficiencies, AK is a tremendous skater himself and can show players how to skate correctly.

Our son has had a real passion for hockey from the time he first started skating. The power skating has been instrumental in giving our son a solid skating foundation allowing him to play at a high level. Great edge techniques as well as agility, maneuverability and balance training has helped him immensely. AK's attention to detail while training on the treadmill is extraordinary. His enthusiasm allows him to motivate and challenge the students in new skating techniques.

We drive 11 hours from Boise, Idaho to Kelowna, BC to attend AK Hockey camps! The trainers are able to pin point problem areas in technique. The skate mill instruction is a game changer especially once your player starts shooting and stickhandling while on the skate mill. These instructors are crucial in player development and the price is very reasonable.

Excellent world class facility with personal knowledgeable coaches my son loves going to and has a blast each time. We have seen huge improvements in our sons on ice skating seeing how he applies the skills learned in the skatemill to the ice truly pays off, helping my son make his first Tier 1 team.

I am extremely proud of my daughters progress in just one week. You guys did a great job and I couldn't be more appreciative of your work and the progress she made. From zero backwards skating, falling and needing coach assistance, to ripping through the trial quickly and all by herself was so heart warming to me.

I have sent my son to the top skating camps in Western Canada and have seen the most improvement after the AK camp. More than any other camp there is a set methodology of skating stride and repetition of drills that helps the kids really understand and ingrain their new technique. Instructors are very skilled, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

My son has been attending summer AK camps for the last four years, he can't wait for the camp to start every year. He loves the smaller camp sizes that allows him to have more interaction with the coaches, and get immediate feedback. I would recommend their camps to anyone. He also uses the skatemill to help him tweak any things that comes up. Overall the AK group is one of the most knowledgeable and professional group of coaches we have ever worked with.

We have had our son in multiple AK Hockey Camps. Every time he has been on the ice for one of these camps his skating has improved greatly. We love the player to coach ratio and feel this is the best camp he has been to. He has so much one on one and coaches that care for him to succeed. We highly recommend AK Hockey to any player looking to step up their game and skating.

I can not say enough about Coach AK and his team at AK Hockey. As a first time hockey camp parent I really appreciated how smooth the whole process was. My youngest had a really hard time coming out of his shell but Coach AK had a 5 minute one on one with my son and handled the situation perfectly with kindness and patience. By the end of camp my son was sad it was over. No word of a lie, I saw improvements in both my children's skating the next day. This is the first camp we've sent our children to and we will be sending them to AK Hockey for as long as we can.

Cant say enough good things about the trainers and the programs at AK Hockey. Every summer I keep signing up my kids and they love it! They find the right balance between challenging the kids and making it fun!

My daughter did the afterschool camp this fall/winter and absolutely loved it. The instructors were so good with the kids and really worked with them on their edges and helping them improve their skating. I have been recommending AK hockey to anyone who wants to improve their kids skating.

My 11 year old son attended two terms of the weekly winter sessions. The drills were fantastic and his skating maneuverability improved substantially. He enjoyed working with all the coaches and they really know how to keep the kids engaged. Great organization!

My son is joining minor hockey this year and this camp gave him the extra boost he needed to feel confident joining his friends. He said he could tell he improved on skating backwards. He loved this camp and we will be doing more in the future for sure!

My 7yr old son absolutely loved his hockey camp this summer with AK and his team of instructors. They were all enthusiastic, playful and energetic with the kids. My son couldn't wait to get there each day! It's the start of hockey season now and we've noticed a huge improvement in our sons skating!

I learned so much in one week with AK hockey. I had the skatemill in the morning for an hour and then on the ice at noon. The two sessions were really helpful. What I learned at the skatemill I could put into practice on the ice later that day. The coaches were all really helpful and had videos and pictures to help tell me what I should work on. I want to go back next year for sure.

My twin boys love coming to the Treadmill, not only do they have fun but I see a noticeable difference in their skating ability the next on ice session. It's noticeable that they're more stable on their edges and have a stronger more powerful push in their stride.

Our children had never experienced anything like the skatemill before their first session. The instructor put them at ease and was very professional and accurate in his explanation and demonstrations. By the end of the five sessions they had both significantly improved their stride and acceleration and accuracy and strength in their shots. It showed on the ice during their practices and games.

This is the best hockey camp in the Okanagan hands down! We can't speak highly enough of the level of instruction and coaching received both on and off the ice. In 4 short days, he has learnt new skills and built upon the fundamentals of skating and positioning that has noticeably elevated his game!

Our son has skated with many different organizations and skating instructors. What sets AK apart is that he actually cares about each child on the ice. My son is given individual attention and constant feedback about what he needs to do to improve.

Finally a skating camp that was truly that. AK Hockey was by far the best skating program I've seen to date. My boy absolutely loved it and although it was only a week of instruction you could see big improvements in his skating technique. The instruction from AK was top notch and I would recommend him to anyone out there. We'll definitely be back next year.

As a grandparent we have seen an incredible improvement not only in our grandson's ability, faster skating, better edges, better stick handling and shooting, and the biggest change is the confidence this all has given him. We are so pleased and will continue to support our grandson in attending AK Hockey.

We booked our son for 3 different classes a day for 5 days, 2 on ice and 1 on the skatemill. He had a blast! AK and his staff did a great job and are very professional. My son couldn't say enough about AK Hockey, he already wanted to book for the next summer session. Tyler's skating has greatly improved, even his coaches noticed a big difference in his abilities when we started the new hockey season.

Just finished our first Hockey Camp with AK Hockey this summer. My Son in U7 developed like crazy and loved the coaches. Big shout out to this team and we'll be seeing lots of AK in the future.

I want to thank you and your coaching staff for having my son as part of your AKHockey Train and Gain Apprentice Program this summer. Your program was a great fit. Being on the ice almost every day combined with the skatemill and gym access improved his skating, strength and confidence. He went from a Tier 3/2 PeeWee and Bantam player to a KMHA Midget Tier 1 player and earned the opportunity to AP with both the Okanagan Rockets and the Kamloops Storm of the KIJHL. He is on his way to surpassing every goal he set for himself.
